21 Day Challenge – Week 1

I am always up for a challenge.

I like pushing myself and I like trying new things. If you didn’t see my Didgeridoo Handstand video then you might not know this about me…

So I was asked to participate in the Anytime Fitness 21-Day Challenge as a part of my reviewing the book Working Out Sucks. Not being one that backs down from a challenge, I accepted. I have been working out and eating right for a lot longer than 21 days now so this fits right in!

Anytime Fitness hooked me up with a membership to my local franchise, which for you locals is over behind Neil Jordan’s at the Oakland Plantation shopping center. The franchise owner, Jeff, was a really nice guy and he genuinely seems interested in helping people get fit. Now that I have a membership, I can go to any franchise in the country too. I think I might take a trip soon, just so I can go check out other gyms. Hmmmm. Yes, I think it is time for a road trip.

So anyway, I hit Anytime Fitness this morning for a bit’o calorie burn. I decided to do a video blog (vblog for you fancy schmancy whipper snappers) about it. Pray ye watch said video here:

And for those that doubted my calorie burn considering the video was so blurry…

The 21 Day challenge was really put together for beginners to have a structure to follow to help kick start them on their journey to getting healthy and fit.
