I am enjoying my lack of concern over what the scale is saying right now. I feel less stressed about my health now that I am not gauging it entirely on what my weight is. I am working out harder and I am eating better and life is great. So that being said I almost didn’t have anything to say today…yeah right.
Here is some interesting news. Someone seems to think that I am an interesting blogger.
I think. and might have interesting things to say.
I was voted by my peers to be a keynote speaker at the Fitbloggin Health and Wellness Conference.
The fat guy from last year.
The one who got winded walking up the stairs.
The guy who barely fit behind his steering wheel.
I am being asked to speak at a conference for health and wellness bloggers.
Wow. I have come a long way in one short year. How insane is this?
I am still having trouble realizing that I have been inspirational to others who have started, wanted to start, or wished they knew how to start a weight loss story. I am honored that the blogging community wants to know more about me and I am going to have an interesting forum in which to convey that info. It will be through the innovation of an Ignite presentation.
An Ignite presentation is one where I will have 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds for a 5 minute presentation. It should be very cool and I am very excited to be a presenter.
I have promised that my presentation will have three major components.
1) It will be about losing weight and getting healthy.
2) It will include information about zombie apocalypse survival.
c) I will let my fans and twitter followers decide what the other slides will be about.
So there you have it. If you are interested in hearing me speak then make sure to sign up for Fitbloggin ’12. If you aren’t interested, then go jump in a lake.
I will be writing more about this in the near future but I wanted to give you a fun Stock Report this week. I actualy have some more awesome news about my first triathlon, but I am going to save that for another post.
Oh, snap. Can you deal with the anticipation?
