So a couple of weeks ago I sent an email to the Success Stories at the Huffington Post telling them about my weight loss journey. I got an email back this past week telling me that were running my story, which they did here. But they also gave me the opportunity to become a regular contributor to the Healthy Living blog.
Do wha? Me? On the big stage?
Now to get the visions of book deals and Lifetime movie specials out of my head…

(sweet… even though they used a profile pic of me at close to my heaviest weight)
I know that I am not the first of my kind to get this opportunity, but I am still really excited about it. I think that this is a really cool opportunity to share my story and also inspire and motivate others to reach goals that they think are unattainable.
I am going to be posting a 3 or 4 part series starting next week and then I will just see what I feel compelled to produce.
Do you guys have any thoughts on what you would like to see me write?
Just an FYI, my lawyers are insisting that I write this part: The Huffington Post is in NO WAY affiliated with me. I know that they would love to hitch their wagon to this shooting star, but I want to make it clear that they do not work for me. I do not pay them. We are simply mutual friends with audiencial benefits (I made that word up.) Oh, yeah… I don’t work for them either. I will be posting independently and am not an employee of the Huffington Post.
I knew you would get famous someday! Great story!!
Hank this is so kick, bad a$$ right now. I’ve been following you since 2012 when I had my blog confessions of a fat momma. So glad you get to be a blessing and inspiration to people who are trying to lose weight and better their lives. Congrats Hank 🙂
Thanks Shannon!
