Week 47 – Life’s Ups and Downs

This is the first weigh-in of the rest of my life. Here are the results for week 47:

Last Week: 252.0 lbs.
Week Difference: +0.4 lbs.
Total Loss: 82.2 lbs.
Waist: 41.25 inches (-0.75)
Neck: 15.75 inches (-0.25)
Body Fat Percentage: 31.5% 
BMI: 31.5 (-0.0 )

Well folks, the weight that I gained two weeks ago, and then lost last week…I gained back this week. I think I am going to tie a string to my back and lend myself out to giants who need yo-yos.  Or maybe not.

He is the good news. I might not have a scale loss this week, but I DO have more measurement losses. Here is the PROOF…


Waist loss of 3/4 of an inch.

Neck loss of 1/4 inch.

Crazyness. I know.

It has been weird increasing my calories over the past couple of weeks. I totally feel like I am eating too much. But scientifically speaking, I am not. Science is a b-word. The female dog kind of b-word.

Transition.

Speaking of b-word…I will be running the 35th annual Cooper River Bridge run on Saturday. It is a 10k which will be my first. Of course my first 5k was only this past weekend so I like to go big. And then I go home. And go to sleep. I ran 6 miles earlier this week and I did it in an hour and five minutes. Not too shabby.

I am really excited about the run. I will be keeping pace with my home crew, The Run Buddies. I am not going to worry about how quickly I run it. I am going to worry about how much fun I have with these guys! I plan on taking lots of pics and vids to document the coolness of this event.

You guys know that I have challenged Shay Carl to a mud run. He has ignored me thus far. I actually saw on his Twitter today that he responded to some other person asking him to run the Warrior Dash. It hurts my feeling. Please go read that post and tweet the foolishness out of him. If nothing else it will make me feel better…
