Maybe being away from my accountability for a week was all I needed to break the stall.

As you all know, I spent the last week in Honduras.  I tried to log my food intake, but the only internet connection was at our guest house and it was tough because we had som much going on once we got back there at the end of the day that I almost never had time to update it.  I actually had about a 240 day streak for logging my food until last week! And then you hopefully saw my first video which showed you how I tried to keep active in a confined space.  What I didn’t tell you in that video is that throughout the day I was probably putting on a serious burn just from running around with the kids! Man you guys, that trip was incredible. I encourage everyone to take a chance and serve others.

So how about it. A three pound loss coming into the new year.  I am very pleased with that. Especially after being the “Gordo” for the past week.  I did convince one kid to refer to me as “El Gigante” which was much more satisfying.

So what will the new year hold for the Business of Losing Weight?

I don’t usually resolve to do anything in the new years, but I will promise a few things to you.

1. I will reach the 100 pound loss mark.
2. I will surpass the 100 pound loss mark.
3. I will post more quality and more often.
4. I will post more videos.
5. I will document an effort to help someone ELSE lose weight.

How about that for 5 resolutions?

I have so much more to discuss but I know that your attention span, like mine this week, is short.  Here are a couple of quick items and then I will be done for today.

  • I am going to have a lot of cool announcements in the very near future concerning my relationship with certain brands. I know that this is a tease, but I promise you will like it and some of you will even benefit from it.
  • My commitment to Louie’s Kids will never end. However, the financial challenge portion has passed and I will be contacting those who made a similar commitment to mine so that we can get them a check! Let’s continue to help fight childhood obesity by supporting this great organization!
  • The Beast Face picture page will be up by the end of the weekend.  Did you send me your picture yet?
  • I saw a cow eating out of a garbage can. Not relevant, but still funny.

Well anyway. I have some great ideas for new videos, but I would also love to hear your ideas. Please post them as comments here or on the Facebook page.

And now for the part I know you have ALL been waiting for. Pictures. Ugh. I don’t really think you want to see these, but then again you keep BEGGING me for them. All two of you.

Oh the joy of a new year. What will it hold? What fun shall come our way? Who knows…

Until next week’s weigh-in,

Remember that all is permissible but not all is profitable…

Beast face out.
