Week 38 – You Lost What?

Week of 01-20 through 01-26 in the year of our Lord 2012
This is the first weigh-in of the rest of my life. Here are the results for week 38:

Today: 250.2 lbs.
Last Week: 250.4 lbs.
Week Difference: -0.2 lbs.
Total Loss: 84.4 lbs.
Body Fat: 19.7 %
Lean Mass: 41.7%
Blood Pressure: N/A
BMI: 31.3 (-0.0 )

Today I am going to change the game up a little.  I like to throw a curve ball every now and again.

So here it is…a video.

Ha ha! I know I messed the math up when talking about the Louie’s Kids Pledge. I based my math on 81 pounds lost but I said 78 pounds. Did you catch that? You didn’t? Well I guess I shouldn’t have said anything, although I know my friend Trey is already writing me an email about it.

So what do you think about the video post? Let me know. It matters to me. You matter to me.

Anyway check out this awesome and completely legit check that I presented to Louie’s Kids yesterday.

I would like to thank Crystal, Amy, Nikki and Stew, John, and Marc for being awesome. They donated to the cause and helped me raise $1000 for Louie’s Kids. Obesity is such a problem in our country and it is silently killing so many of us.  Consider helping out by supporting great organizations like Louie’s Kids.

Don’t forget…tomorrow I will be posting a Polar heart rate monitor giveaway.  Did you read far enough into this post to read that? Let me repeat myself…A POLAR HEART RATE MONITOR GIVEAWAY.  You know you want it. So you better be prepared with cunning and wit.

Peace, love, recycle.

Beast Face out…

Hank, I just watched your video and wanted to let you know that your math is WAY off! You said 78 pounds, but I’m pretty sure you based your calculations on having lost 81 pounds.

Because of the urgency of this matter, I dropped what I was doing and wrote this comment before reading any further down the page, but I am confident you will be stunned and blindsided by this news that you were completely unaware of before reading this comment.

  • Hank OMG you’ve almost lost 100 haven’t you?! You are so awesome!!!

  • Crystal

Awesome job, Hank! We’re proud of you and I knew you’d raise a ton of money, but $1000? That is insane!

I’ll be tuned in tomorrow! You (and Meg, too) have gotten us really interested in the Polar heart rate monitor.

You know I want to hear every pithy word you say, but Dang Dude. I can barely hear your video even with the volume all the way turned up. Maybe I need to take off the headphones Ha Ha Hank Ha Ha Hanna!

Ok, your video finally convinced me to comment – even though I have been subscribed for a while – I think this is my first comment.
    You are doing great!
Love the video weigh in… however – maybe a bit shorter? Like 3 to 4 minutes?

Looking sharp in that NorthFace fleece, Hank. Thanks for supporting groups like Louie’s Kids. Obesity is definitely an epidemic in the U.S. If it were a viral epidemic, it would be taken more seriously, unfortunately. You’re such a great role model for change.
