Week 46 – Wrong Week to Stop Sniffing Glue

Week of 03-16 through 03-22 in the year of our Lord 2012
This is the first weigh-in of the rest of my life. Here are the results for week 46:

 252.0 lbs.
Last Week: 252.4 lbs.
Week Difference: -0.4 lbs.
Total Loss: 82.6 lbs.
Waist: 42 inches (-0.0)
Neck: 16 inches (-0.0)
Body Fat Percentage: 31.5%
BMI: 31.5 (-0.0 )

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

So here is what I am thinking.
I think that you guys prefer to read what I am thinking than hear what I am thinking in a video. Also I know that a lot of you read my blog while you are at work and therefore cannot watch a video for fear of being released from said job. The economy sucks, so I don’t want anyone losing their job on account of me…

With that being said I am going to shorten my weigh in videos to 5 minutes or less in order to keep the attention of those few (like 2 or 3) people who watch them. I know that they have short attention spans. I can smell it. I will still post the weigh in videos in my weekly weigh in blog post, but I will write more about what is going on, because I honestly believe that is why you people (all 6 of you) come here.

How does that sound?

So this week is a bit of a catching up week again. I still have not gotten back to my lowest recorded weight of 249.2 pounds. I have been sticking to my workout routine, but I HAVE NOT been tracking my food like I should have.  Now that doesn’t mean that I have been eating poorly. It just means that I have not been logging it. I will do better this week, I promise. Also I am having one of those Debbie Downer kind of weeks. Send me some love on FB or Twitter if you think about it. I need the encouragement.

As mentioned in my post about the hunger games, I am running my first real race this coming weekend. It is called the Rugged Maniac and it is an obstacle 5k. I am down right excited about it. I am also excited that I will have a GoPro camera to document the action! Fun, fun.

Here is my video. Sniffing glue would’ve made it better I think…

Ok, that is all I have right now. Peace love and recycle.

Be good this week and in the meantime, remember that all is permissible, but not all is PROFITABLE.

Beast Face out!

I read on my phone and loading a video on my phone takes fooooorever.

I’ll be interested to see what you think of the Rugged Maniac. My friend at work did it and it looked totally insane. I think you’ll have a lot of fun with it!

Hey Hank! This is so awesome! You look fantastic! 🙂 I just wanted to send some encouragement your way–my sister Amy worked very hard to lose at least 100 lbs about 2 yrs ago, and it has been life-transforming for her! She uses fitday.com to track all of her nutrition and exercise information to help her be sure to eat enough of all the right things and have just the right kind of exercise to maximize her efforts. You’re doing so well–praise the Lord! I’m sure you feel better–I do after losing 50 lbs, not nearly as dramatic, but definitely healthier. 😀 Keep up the good work!

HAHAHA!!! You are DEAD-ON about why I don’t watch your videos. =) I always want to because I KNOW they’ve got to be entertaining, but I am ALWAYS reading your blog while I’m at work. Thanks for understanding. ;o) And keep on keepin’ on!! I am not doing ANYTHING of the magnitude that you are, but I started working out a few weeks ago — a more intense workout than I’ve done in a while (though, like I said, NOTHING like what you are doing) — and ever since, I have not dropped ANY weight. I know it’s because I’m building muscle (and also because my muscles probably have to retain water after I workout in order to recover) but it’s still frustrating when you want to see those numbers on the scale drop, knowing you’ve really worked hard, and yet they don’t. I am hanging in there, though, whereas in the past I probably would have said “Forget this!” and stopped working out. =) Keep up the good work!

Just want you to know that I read your blog through my reader, therefore it probably doesn’t show up in your stats anywhere…
so there is at least 7 of us out here instead of the 6 you mention… You have a very informative and inspiring blog.
Thanks for sharing and please keep it up! You give me the oomph to get and go myself.
